Polyfluorene계 polymer-OLED의 발광 층내에 분산된 강유전성 BaTiO3 유전입자의 역할
Behavior of BaTiO3 ferroelec tric particles embedded in polyfluorene emitting layer of PFO-base OLED
Abstract
Simple OLED structure with ITO anode, Al cathode and BaTiO3 embedded PFO emitting layer waschallenged. Roles and behavior of 80 nm-size ferroelectric particles in 140 nm thickness PFO emitting layer wasinvestigated. Embedded ferroelectric particles were charged and formed electric dipole by OLED applied voltage. Therefore, coulomb interactions between the injected charges and embedded particle were happened. Theseinteractions increased charge follows then resulted in current density increment. However, additions over 10 wt%BaTiO3 deteriorated the device characteristics due to strong interaction between the embedded particles. Thresholdvoltage was reduced around 2 V and we obtained 2 times higher luminance from device-B than that fromreference device-A.
