Optical effect on TiO2 additive in ZnS based inorganic electroluminescence device fabricated by screen printing

Abstract

ZnS:(Cu,Al) AC powder electroluminescence devices have been fabricated by screen printing method. BaTiO3 was used as material of dielectric layer. The fabrication of device has been made by manual screen printing with experimental variables, and the optimal condition was obtained from many experiences. TiO2 has good acid resistance, analkali resistance and harmless to human body. Therefore TiO2 has been most often used in the photocatalyst. The substrate used as transparent electrode fabricated with ITO glass and ITO PET Film. In this study, we try to use TiO2 additive for phosphor layer to increase efficiency of the inorganic EL device. Characteristic of the device structure was carried out by cross sectional SEM image, XRD image and emission spectrum.However, the luminous efficiency increase with the more addition of TiO2.
